What a great teacher!

Hello :)

Today, while I was having a coffee I had a memory of my favorite teacher.
I was in 3rd course of Preschool and she had the whole class amazed. All of her students were enchanted by her kindness and endless smiley face.
She taught us a lot of things using songs and acting out stories that she used to tell us daily.
However, what I liked the most was her teaching style fostering our imagination and creativity.
Nowadays, I believe that a good teacher must lead the students out of their comfort zone.
Bring the learners out of such a comfortable place and motivate them to do so is not easy.
The unknown causes us doubts and frighten us because we have no control over the situation. We must learn to accept uncertainty and what we find along the way, as it will lead us to the discovery.
The road ahead is very important and our students have to enjoy it. It is full of magic, surprises, joy, creativity and much prominence. They have to learn how to be protagonists of their own lives. This way they can enjoy more daily, feel useful and be creative in what they do. To do this, we need to let our students to be brave, make mistakes, lose and discover their talents.
We, as teachers, must be open to do new and different things as usual and take our students to face themselves.

Thanks for reading.

Much love,

Alba xx
